No Bounds Radio
About No Bounds Radio
No Bounds Radio is an internet radio station, currently run by four people across London and Manchester.
The station was set up in March 2020, simply as a way for people to share their voices in lockdown. Our shows include topics around literature, music, radio plays, sound collages, documentary, sound art, and more. They have an experimental and DIY bent – often recorded via phone. Thus we encourage amateurs and non-amateurs alike.
Our hosts come from across the UK, Europe and the U.S. Shows are all currently pre-recorded and remote, but we are in the process of setting up a pop up and physical space in Brunswick Park, Camberwell (London) at the Outhouse Gallery/Bookshop.
Charlie Osborne & Reuben Robinson
About Charlie Osborne
Charlie Osborne is a London-based artist who works across video, performance, sculpture, music, and writing. She has exhibited at Matt’s Gallery, London Short Film Festival, The British Film Institute, OHSH Projects, The White Hotel, and The Turner Contemporary.
Charlie uses fiction to create work which glimpses into a world of an aftermath. Elements like hypnagogic pop, freak folk vocals, and digital props conjure up hope, humour, and magic. Through fractures and structures similar to poetry, characters appear: lonely werewolves, drenched office workers and loved up smurfs. They feel strangely familiar and are presented with a hyper-real, theatrical aesthetic.
About Reuben Robinson
Reuben Robinson is a London-based artist and musician who works across sound, installation, and moving image. He creates immersive, fantastical narratives and explores world-building through fiction and magical realism.
With a background in electronic music, he has performed live at venues both internationally and in the UK. He recently scored the original soundtrack to a film by artist Charlie Osborne, commissioned for an exhibition at the Turner Contemporary in Margate, curated by Mark Leckey. Under his solo music project, ‘Shast’, he runs an immersive club night series called ‘Aerial’. This series is based on a fictional story activated by live actors, bespoke lighting setups and original music/sound works.
Sarah Stedeford
About Sarah Stedford
Sarah Stedeford is a British photographer known for her authentic portrayal of people and culture. She has collaborated with heavyweight fashion and culture titles like i-D Magazine and Dazed & Confused.
Sarah works in a documentary style approach, with a portraiture eye. Her work rejects the fast-paced, perfected and falsified images that we have become accustomed to seeing in the digital era. Sarah seeks to capture the uniqueness of the individual, within the context of the community. Themes of rebellion and a focus on grass-roots activism run through her work.
Sarah was born in South West London. Starting photography at school, photographing her friends while going out and seeing the magic of developing the photographs in the darkroom informed her practice.
