Turf is Croydon’s homegrown, artist-run space. We set up Turf in 2013 as young creatives from the borough needing space and opportunities to be able to pursue creative careers.

Since then, Turf has supported the work of over 500 artists through free exhibitions, workshops, events and low cost studio & project space. Turf also facilitate two collectives; MOSS (a collective of artists living with learning disabilities) and Art Press (a collective of local 14-21 year olds), a support & residency programme for Croydon School of Art students, family workshops, projects with local schools & more. Your support allows us to continue this work and ensure a creative legacy for Croydon.

You can make a one-off or recurring donation of any amount here via paypal.

Alternatively drop into the gallery Wed-Sat 11-5pm where we’ll be happy to help with cash donations. Thank you for your support from all of us at Turf!

Note that Turf is registered for Gift Aid. Donating with Gift Aid means we can claim an extra 25p for every £1 you give. It will not cost you any extra. Email us to provide details to enable us to claim Gift Aid on your donation. Our Gift Aid number is EW35942.

We’re keen to work with likeminded individuals and businesses interested in supporting permanent space for nonprofit and community-focused organisations in Croydon. You don’t have to support financially – if you have expertise to offer we’re just as grateful! Advice on property, finance, legal & the art market would be very valued by us right now.

We make exciting things at Turf with emerging artists, which you can buy in our shop. The proceeds go directly back to the artists & into funding what we do. Click here to head to shop homepage.

We have a wishlist, where you can support us with something concrete & tangible, like supporting a MOSS or Art Press artist for a year, or a piece of equipment.

We’ve been building community in Croydon since 2013, but we’re currently still working in short-term spaces. Currently we’re focusing on the future and trying to secure a permanent home which will help provide a creative legacy for Croydon for years to come. Are you a landowner, business or social investor who’d like to help? We’d love to hear from you.

We’d love to hear from likeminded businesses who’d be interested in supporting us with sponsorships of materials or services. We’re especially interested in working with businesses based locally in Croydon, so we can offer mutual support.

We offer creative, fun and unusual teambuilding workshops in our creative space in the heart of Croydon. Get in touch!
