About No Bounds Radio:
No Bounds Radio is an internet radio station, currently run by four people across London and Manchester.
The station was set up in March 2020, simply as a way for people to share their voices in lockdown. Our shows include topics around literature, music, radio plays, sound collages, documentary, sound art, and more. They have an experimental and DIY bent – often recorded via phone. Thus we encourage amateurs and non-amateurs alike.
Our hosts come from across the UK, Europe and the U.S. Shows are all currently pre-recorded and remote, but they are in the process of setting up a pop up and physical space in Brunswick Park, Camberwell (London) at the Outhouse Gallery/Bookshop.
Angie Dee was born and raised in South London, and used to go record shopping in Croydon. During the late 80’s she created sound systems, building one of the first all-female sound systems ‘Silhouette’, DJ’d at pirate stations such as Kiss (which she went on to work at legally), and volunteered at Radio Thamesmead. Angie has had a rich career DJing in radio and club management.
DJ Camilla is a pioneer – one of the first females to have a regular pirate radio music show. She began her career at DBC, under the alias Sister C. She later joined LWR – London Wide Radio (formally London Weekend Radio).
El-B is a producer and DJ. He was an original member of the UK Garage duo Groove Chronicles, and is commonly seen as one of the pioneers of the dubstep genre, operating around Croydon. He runs the Ghost Recordings label and is also part of the duo El-Tuff.
