Stones of Croydon Teatowel
A lovely massive teatowel commissioned as part of our Stones of Croydon drawing tours.
The teatowel features each of the wards of Croydon, with drawings from the tour held in each one.
The drawing tours were based upon John Ruskin’s principles outlined in his book ‘The Stones of Venice’, with the aim that through drawing participants ‘might see greater beauties than they had hitherto seen in nature and in art’.

Our postage is sorted into 3 flat rates based on a combination of weight & value. We ship via Royal Mail, posting Signed For for Medium parcels and up. To get an accurate shipping cost for your order, simply add the items to cart and click through to checkout. When ordering, bear in mind that we all work part time Wednesdays to Saturdays. We welcome returns within 14 days of receipt – simply email us at info@turf-projects.com & we’ll be happy to help. Our address for returns is 46-47 Trinity Court, Whitgift Centre, CR01UQ. Return costs are covered by the buyer.As a registered charity, Turf sales are non-profit, so your purchase goes back into keeping our programme running & free to all. The money might end up as one of our free exhibitions, workshops & events working with early career artists, help support one of our local artist collectives MOSS & Art Press, continue our support & residency programme for Croydon School of Art students at the beginning of their careers, or go towards our reserves helping us to build a stable future for Turf.
