Are you a Croydon local aged 14-21? Ever wondered how decisions about our town centre are made? Or imagined changing Croydon town centre for the better?

Join us in shaping Croydon Town Centre for tomorrow; turning dreams about change into plans that could actually transform Croydon town centre. This is your future, your spaces, your voice.

Led by RESOLVE Collective, locals who know the ins and outs of shaping a city, dive into Croydon’s past and future. Through content creation and debate, you’ll get a crash course in the processes behind decision making about buildings and towns, and even participate in a simulated planning committee meeting. Here’s your chance to decide the fate of Croydon’s urban landscape! Can you present a vision for the town that gets noticed… and approved?

Croydon Council are currently creating a new plan for Croydon Town Centre. This is your chance to be heard and set the path for our town’s future – a call to action for all young Croydon locals who envision a better town centre. Join us and let’s reimagine Croydon together.

In the lead up to the workshop, you can also find our posters with QR codes around the town to throw your ideas into the mix online.

Free and open to all; please click through to the Eventbrite page to book a free space so we know how many people to expect!

Croydon Council is creating a new strategy to underpin the regeneration being planned for the town centre. A series of creative activities provide opportunities for the community, businesses and partners to get involved. This workshops is facilitated by local arts charity Turf Projects who are part of a multi-disciplinary team led by We Made That, working with Croydon Council in partnership with the GLA. The engagement is taking place from November 2023 into Autumn 2024.
