Family Art Fun Day – Soft Soft Spaces!

Come and build a den in our gallery inspired by artist Milktooth's den building!

What kind of spaces do you feel comfortable and happy in? Come and build a den in our gallery inspired by artist Milktooth’s den building! You will be using materials from the space to create your own den. This workshop is based on our latest exhibition ‘Squidgy World’ which has turned Turf Projects into a space for resting, playing and being.

Come and join in! Spaces will be limited for health and safety so please book a free ticket!

This free workshop is most suitable for ages 5-11, but all are welcome to come and have a go. All ages are welcome and for this workshop we’d especially love for children to come with a caregiver over 65, to collaborate together!

Please note, we are now running the same Family Fun Day workshop twice per exhibition. Once on a Saturday, and once during school holidays. This workshop has already run once, so if you attended the previous one please leave a space for another family!

WORKSHOP CODE:

Turf aims to be a space where all are welcomed & respected. We ask all attendees to align with this spirit when booking and support us in creating a welcoming & collaborative atmosphere together. We ask that everyone is;

  • Kind and respectful in our language and behaviour towards others. Turf is a space which is anti racism, sexism, homophobia and ableism.
  • Considerate of others’ time; allowing others room to speak & engage.
  • Respectful of the space itself as belonging to many people, treating the space & objects with care.
  • Attend wherever possible: In 2023, around 30% of people booking free tickets didn’t turn up! Our free tickets are limited and in high demand. Every person who doesn’t turn up means someone else can’t attend, so please let us know if you can’t make it to free up a space. If you don’t attend twice or more without letting us know, you may be restricted from booking again.
