Taking place at the end of each month, our free feedback sessions are a chance to get feedback on your work from a practicing artist in a supportive and friendly environment. All kinds of creative work are welcome.
August’s feedback session will be led by artist and curator Rosie Mills Eckmire.
For this online session, we will be using video calling platform Zoom. It is possible to take part with or without setting up an account, and we will send instructions for joining ahead of the day.
This workshop is free to attend and open to all but booking is recommended, as spaces are limited. There are five slots available for showing work, but all are welcome to join in the discussion. Rosie Mills Eckmire is a curator, illustrator, and noisemaker from south London. She is interested in the therapeutic properties of creativity and enabling art to be accessible for all. In addition to her self-initiated projects, she has curated exhibitions and events at Turf Projects, serf, and the ICA.
In her personal art practice she performs, illustrates, and writes about home, loss, emotional states, fog on bus windows and grass growing through concrete. Rosie is assistant curator at Bethlem Gallery and manager for the LOFT at Croydon Arts Store, a gallery and project space free for use by Croydon locals.
