Taking place at the end of each month, our free feedback sessions are a chance to get feedback on your work from a practicing artist in a supportive and friendly environment. All kinds of creative work are welcome.
February’s feedback session will be led by writer and researcher Derica Shields.
For this online session, we will be using video calling platform Zoom. It is possible to take part with or without setting up an account, and we will send instructions for joining ahead of the day.
This workshop is free to attend and open to all but booking is recommended, as spaces are limited. There are five slots available for showing work, but all are welcome to join in the discussion. Derica Shields is a writer, researcher and programmer from London. Her work has appeared in the New Inquiry, Rookie, Girls Like Us, Live Art Almanac, Flash Art and more. She is the co-founder of The Future Weird, a (now defunct) screening and discussion series centered on experimental, world-unravelling films. As part of a Triple Canopy commission, she is developing a multi-format oral history project comprising Black people’s accounts of the UK welfare state. She is also completing Bad Practice, a book project to be published by Book Works.
