Caleb works with video, illustration, computer programs, audio, drawing, writing and characters to explore relationships between body, objects, language and subjectivity. He’s interested in medium specificity and the way the conditions of production affect artistic expression. That’s why he also thinks it’s important for artist communities like Turf Projects to exist and demand space for people to make art, so that we’re not all writing poems on the back of receipt paper on the bus. He organises live events with his friends and works as the Gallery and Operations Assistant at Turf Projects to counteract this future.
