Croydon System Change

This year we are pleased to be hosting the Swarm Dynamics Project, Croydon System Change, that runs alongside a residency position at Turf, awarded to emerging artist and member of Conditions studio program, Meitao Qu.

The residency is a paid placement and opportunity to create a work engaging with immersive arts, using VR technology exploring the topic of ‘system change’ and what it means to locals at large, young people, organisations, activists and community workers – local action group members who attend and activate the workshop sessions.

The results, and ideas arising from this engagement on positive transformations for Croydon will be housed and curated within the immersive environment that the artist will build, as an interactive display at Museum of Croydon late 2023 during Borough of Culture.
