Since our beginnings, Turf has operated with the principle of paying artists for their time and work.
This donation covers the fees we pay to an artist to commission new work within our public exhibition programme.

As a registered charity, Turf sales are non-profit, so your purchase goes back into keeping our programme running & free to all. The money might end up as one of our free exhibitions, workshops & events working with early career artists, help support one of our local artist collectives MOSS & Art Press, continue our support & residency programme for Croydon School of Art students at the beginning of their careers, or go towards our reserves helping us to build a stable future for Turf.
