Artist-Designed Patch: ‘Channel 6’, Jennifer Martin

Jennifer Martin (b 1990) is based in London, working with photography, installation, and moving image. Her work is concerned with the potential and potency of photography, as well as the dupable expectation for accuracy and neutrality. A driving question of Martin’s recent work involves the role of art and media, more broadly, in the construction of race and its intersection with representation, agency, nostalgia, and identification. Martin graduated from the Slade School of Fine Art with a BA in Fine Art (2013) and is currently studying MA Photography at the Royal College of Art (2018). In 2017 Martin took part in Chisenhale Studio’s Studio4 Residency and the Durham Wharf Foundation Residency, holding workshops and events that took place across South London Gallery, The Showroom, and ICA London. Selected exhibitions include: Live at Lychee One, Lychee One (London), RPS International Print Exhibition 259, Royal Albert Hall (London), Der Greif: A Process 2.0, Krawków Photomonth (Kraków), Getting Lost, Villa Iris (Santander), Guest-Room, Galerie f5,6 (Munich).   Jennifer Martin exhibited at Turf in 2019 with the exhibition ‘Channel 6’

We aim to get your parcel out to you within 4-7 days, but it’s usually sooner if you order within our working days.
