Over the last year MOSS (Makers of Stuff Squad) have been collecting stories, histories and memories of Croydon culminating in 12 colourful mosaics being sited in Park Hill Park’s walled garden.
MOSS are a collective of learning disabled adult artists from in and around the borough of Croydon.
The mosaics represent a wide range of topics and themes of significance to each of the MOSS artists – everyday sights, cherished spots of yesteryear and the inhabitants of Croydon’s green spaces are all a part of what makes up this glass patchwork of memories. It is the biggest MOSS project to date that will be in the park forever for Croydon to enjoy.
Join us to celebrate the opening of the mosaics being sited in the park. Soft drinks will be provided or BYO. Please note this is a sober event!
This project has been made possible by the GLA Untold Stories fund.
