// ABOUT SUNG NAM HAN
Sung Nam Han is an artist and is Director of Art in Country of Tokyo (AICOT) and Interdisciplinary Art Festival Tokyo (IAFT). Sung Nam Han makes her artworks thinking carefully about “what watching a video is”. Her work takes on multiple forms, including performance, interactive art installations made through a blue background editing method known as keying, and wearable / pocketable video works using smartphones, small cameras or monitors. Much of her practice focuses on the concept of the “super linear” and combines video, play and dance.
Sung Nam’s current project is related to Interdisciplinary Art Festival Tokyo [IAFT] 19/20 in EUK. It is supported by The Great Britain Sasakawa Foundation and Sompo Japan Nipponkoa Insurance Inc [SOMPO ART FUND] – Association for Corporate Support of the Arts, Japan 2021 Fund for Creation of Society by the Arts and Culture.
