As artists, speaking to others about our practice is a key part of sharing and promoting our work and ideas. Speaking in public can be daunting at the best of times, so what if it doesn’t come naturally?
In this free artists’ workshop, equip yourself with tools for tackling stage-fright, and articulating the thoughts that shape your work.We will share ideas, talk about individual strengths as presenters and consider performance and presentation tips from phone call to interview. Be prepared to use your voice and have a bit of fun.
Groundwerk is a monthly series of free practical workshops for artists and creatives wishing to gain the skills to support their practice. This month’s Groundwerk will be led by vocal coach Kate Terris.
This workshop is free to attend and open to all but booking is recommended, as spaces are limited.
