In this free artists’ workshop, learn about alternative artist economies with Nora Silva. Over a cuppa we will take an honest look at the history of artists and day jobs, and a practical look to creative thinking and resourceful organisations that work with different structures.
Groundwerk is a monthly series of free practical workshops for artists and creatives wishing to gain the skills to support their practice.
This workshop is free to attend and open to all but booking is recommended as spaces are limited.
// ABOUT NORA SILVA
Nora Silva (1988) is a Spanish artist based in London. Currently studying at the Royal College of Art, recent shows include Exchange of Spaces at the Camden Art Center, The Dose Makes the Poison at Carousel or VR Exhibition at the ICA. Upcoming exhibitions include Lost Senses at Shonibare Studio in London and her first solo show, Salón, at LaJuan Gallery in Madrid. She also co-directs The Gramounce, an exhibition supper club, and MilesKm, an arts collective for the research of collaborative practices within the arts.
