FAMILY ART FUN DAY: Massive Sculpture-Making and Storytelling

Build up a story with other participants, one line at a time. Huge paper rolls on walls of the gallery will be a giant notepad for families to see their ideas grow.

SATURDAY 1 OCTOBER 12-2pm // At Turf Gallery, Keeley Road, Croydon

£FREE

In this free family workshop, explore hands-on how Turf’s current exhibition, ‘And so it was, and so it is’, was made.

Children and their adults are invited to work together to build up a story with other participants, one line at a time. Huge paper rolls on walls of the gallery will be a giant notepad for families to see their ideas grow.

We’ll also be using dough, plastic and other exciting objects to build an enormous group sculpture. Our sculpture will keep growing over the course of the workshop, and at the end we’ll reveal what we’ve created and share our story together!

This workshop is completely free to attend and all materials are provided. Most suitable for ages 5+ but all are welcome to come and have a go.
