What happens next?
- We send out an email to the waiting list any time a studio becomes available. This will contain;
- Price
- Size
- Location
- Access info
- A link will be included to book a viewing to see the available studio.
- You can request to take a studio on the day or by email within 48 hours.
- If multiple people are interested, we have a system to allocate studios – see ‘How are studios allocated?‘.
- We usually offer a studio within 3-7 days of viewings. You’ll be asked to confirm that you want to take the studio, sign a contract, complete an onboarding form and an induction.
How are studios allocated?
Our allocations prioritise Croydon-based artists, those on low incomes and those who have been on the waiting list for the longest. Make sure you update your profile on the waiting list so we have the most up to date information – you’ll find the link to update this in your welcome email.
We do ask existing studio members if they’ve like spaces before sending to the general waiting list. We have more desk space availability, so becoming a desk-based studio member is typically the quickest way to becoming a studio member.
