Pam Ann Adventures

Club Soda’s Pop Artists’ collaborative comic inspired by a trip to Croydon Airport.

Follow the adventures of Homer the homing pigeon and Mr Barnstorm, an old fashioned aviator, as they take their plane, “Wartime Mystrey” across land and sea to meet Pam Ann. Club Soda are a collective of artists who have learning difficulties or mental health issues.

Club Soda and Turf Projects have been working together since June 2014. Turf have been providing regular workshops for the artists on Tuesday evenings to support their own artistic practices and work on collaborative projects including producing drawings and collages for the group exhibition ‘A Glass of Bozzetti Fizz’ taken from their time visiting the Museum Of Croydon’s Riesco Gallery, creating their own model crazy golf course; making DIY animations including flipbooks, zoeotropes and gifs; an exhibition at the National Trust’s Morden Hall Park ‘Wandling’.

Special thanks to Michael To & Alex Brenchley.
