📍 Meet at Wandle Park Bandstand, Cornwall Rd, Croydon CR0 3RD (what three words address: ///hype.boxing.aware)
A wandering tour through Wandle Park, exploring Poppy Ash’s ‘Pigeons of Croydon’ posters, talking to actual pigeons and, hopefully, understanding them better. Inspired by the our latest Fungus Press poster trail commission by Poppy Ash ‘Pigeons of Croydon’, join our Facilitator-in-Residence, Michael Crowe [@spaghetticlurb], in looking at the posters, conduct magical interviews, learn dance choreographies made by these glorious birds and consider the unique individuals they could be.
This workshop is a Turf Projects Family Art Fun Day – offering children and their families a chance to make and play together. ‘Interviewing Pigeons: No comment’ is a creative writing and drawing workshop, offering a fun way to explore art and respond to it, so families can look at, interpret and enjoy art together. This workshop is appropriate for ages 6+.
