Participants will practice the freeform crochet technique in the first hour then they will combine this skill by experimenting with twigs, sticks and other elements found in nature, to create their own sculptural pieces in the second hour.
The intention of the workshop isn’t solely to make something but to learn, first and foremost. To be mindful of the way it feels to try something new and to take home a new or honed skill.
We’re encouraging intergenerational collaboration within all of our workshops as part of our current project, ‘Squidgy World’. All ages are welcome and we’d especially love for you to spread the word to people aged 65+! You only need to book for one if you would like to bring more than one caregiver.
