![Introducing our latest Fungus Press residency artist, Poppy Ash [@poppyfash] 🌱
Poppy is a Croydon-based artist & Turf Projects studio holder whose practice celebrates the overlooked and the everyday. Her work primarily takes the form of zines and illustration, playing with hand-drawn & digital techniques, with an interest in self-produced and -distributed zines.
For Fungus Press, Poppy shares 'Pigeons of Croydon', a vibrant celebration of an often misunderstood bird and an invitation to celebrate their beauty!
Poppy's pigeons will be popping up across Croydon from October until January 2027 🐦](https://turf-projects.com/wp-content/plugins/instagram-feed/img/placeholder.png)
