GROUNDWERK 7.2 [ONLINE RESOURCE] // INVENTORY: EXPLORING OBJECTS & SPACE
How can we use list-making processes as a tool for exploring the space and objects around us? In this workshop, developed by artist Rebecca Sainsot-Reynolds, create your own inventory using materials of your own choosing. Map your desired contents out in 2D, 3D, or digital space, using drawing, modelling or collage. Play with the scale of your objects, replicate them, re-shape them, and re-orient them.
We’d love to see what you come up with. Share images of the work you develop to firstname.lastname@example.org, or tag us on Instagram @turfprojects.
Groundwerk is a monthly series of free practical workshops for artists and creatives wishing to gain the skills to support their practice.
// ABOUT REBECCA SAINSOT-REYNOLDS
Rebecca is currently studying and MA in Situated Practice at UCL. Her practise uses installation, archives, object making, and storytelling to explore themes of space, play and participation. Physical and mock- mythical environments are created and then acted on through an invitation to share, host or collaborate, developing research around the idea that ‘the work here is in the being-together’.
