Groundwerk 4.1: How to Get an Exhibition – TURFDAY 5TH BIRTHDAY SPECIAL

SAT 20 OCTOBER 2:30-4pm
FREE & OPEN TO ALL AT TURF, WHITGIFT CENTRE, CROYDON CR01UQ

BOOK >

How do people actually get exhibitions? How do you end up showing at the Tate or even in artist-led galleries or fairs? What do you have to do, or rather, who do you have to know?

Following on from their popular text How To Get An Exhibition, The White Pube will talk critically on how exclusionary the creative industries are, offer a few strategies to intervene, and open up conversation to imagine a whole new art world that does not discriminate.

This session is taking place as part of Turf’s 5th birthday extravaganza!

Groundwerk is a monthly series of free practical workshops for artists and creatives wishing to gain the skills to support their practice.

This workshop is free to attend and open to all but booking is recommended, as spaces are limited.
