Access: Website / Social Media
We recognise our obligations under The Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018 and the Equality Act 2010.
We’ve developed the website so that it works on the widest number of devices and web browsers as possible. The site has been tested with disabled users. It is also compatible with assistive technologies such as JAWS and Dragon NaturallySpeaking.
We’re working out how to make the website compatible with the AA level of the World Wide Web Consortium’s (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 (WCAG 2.1). We recognise we have more work to do and that we are a work in progress!
This website is not compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.1 AA standard. The non-accessible sections are listed in our page on ‘Known limitations’.
On our Social Media channels and our website we have begun to ensure all our images include ‘Alt text’ but we know there may be some images in our archived posts without this feature.
If you spot something else that we haven’t listed please contact us to let us know, we always welcome your feedback and support.
